ABSTRACT | ||
Man and women are two main pillars of the human society. The development of the society is depends on both man and women. The role of women in development is most intimately related to the goal of comprehensive socio-economic development. If the women of the society are neglected and backward, then the society is back in the end. The development of society is actually possible through the development of both men and women. Today we fell the necessity of empower of women in the society. Empowerment was defined as a process of transformation of power relation by which oppressed persons gain some control over their lives and involved in the matters, which affects them directly. Government and nongovernment organizations helping women to achieve their own rights and to empower themselves. But they are not empowered yet. All efforts of women empowerment are still failling in the society. In this paper I will try to find out the reasons why women is not being empowered, different obstacles of women empowerment, the way for overcoming the obstacles in the case of women empowerment and the theories and methods, those will help us to make a healthy society and pollution free environment.
