Devjit Naskar, Independent Researcher, Behala College (Autonomous), University of Calcutta, Kolkata, West Bengal, India
ABSTRACT
PCOS is a hormonal condition that affects many women during their reproductive years, involving intricate interactions between hormones, metabolism, and overall health. While conventional treatments focus on symptom management, personalized dietary and lifestyle interventions offer a promising approach to holistic PCOS management. This study aims to investigate the impact of tailored nutrition and lifestyle strategies on PCOS symptoms, metabolic health, and quality of life. A comprehensive review of existing literature and clinical trials will inform the development of personalized intervention protocols. Our research highlights the importance of considering individual variability in nutritional needs, physical activity levels, and stress management techniques. By adopting a patient-centred approach, healthcare providers can empower women with PCOS to take control of their health and well-being. This study's findings will contribute to the growing body of evidence supporting the role of personalized dietary and lifestyle interventions in PCOS management, ultimately enhancing treatment outcomes and improving the quality of life for women with PCOS.
